On the day of their departure, a special farewell Farbrengen was held in their honor, led by the Rebbe’s Shliach to Moldova, and its Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Zalman Abelsky.
At the Farbrengen, Rabbi Abelsky presented the two with dollars he himself received from the Rebbe’s holy hand, as a token of appreciation.
The two were also privied to a tour of a honey bee colony recent added under the Kosher supervision of the chief Moldovan rabbinate.
